Hello everyone my name is Teanna Murphy, I have 9 years of expert experience in the medical field. I hold many titles/hats. Hello my name is Pam and I have been a caregiver for 13 years I also am licensed in the state of Virginia. I have been doing Home health and Hospice care for 8. I went in to caregiving after I had worked for the federal service for 28 years. I always knew my calling was to be in this field but I became a mother young and then a single mother and did not go to school until my children were much older. I love being a caregiver to the elderly because I know that they receive the best care and respect and their dignity is kept until my services are no longer needed. It is such a joy to me to see the elderly that I take care of smile everyday and laugh and enjoy life. I have several great references that can be called as to those that I have taken care of whether it be their parent ,their spouse or their mother. I never planned to be a CNA but found I truly enjoy the work. enjoy spending time with my clients, being able to help others is rewarding and makes me feel needed. I am a full time college student and the mother of an amazing daughter.

I became a cargiver when my aunt had colon cancer. After she was better after a year and half i went and started with my pca and then got my cna. I love to make a difference in a persons life and it amazing how the body works and takes care of its self. A personal achievement that I am proud of is getting my nursing career going and being a single mom has been very hard at times. I have learned that it was all worth it because I love my job and I am able to provide for my son.
