I am a patient caregiver who understands and meets the needs of a client. I strive to make my clients' lives a little easier by directly and positively impacting their quality of life. I most enjoy jobs that offer one on one interaction. I pride myself in offering exceptional care to the elderly and their surroundings by making sure they live in a clean and comfortable environment.

I have always been a caregiver. I began taking of my parents and familk members. I have for various types home care agencies. I also taken of 2 private clients in my home provided by their families until they passed away, at different times for over years.

I'm a mother of two and a daughter. My mom lives with me. I'm a military spouse. I'm very compassionate, understanding and have big heart for elderly. I grew up with my grandparents since my father passed before I knew him. And my grandparents passed before I can give them the care they need. For that reason alone give me motivation to give the love for my grandparents that they never had from me to passed it on to other elderly people. I always treat them as my own grandparents. I have my CPR and BLS. I have food handling permit. I have my NAR and working to my CNA next month. Taking some of my pre-requisite to my Nursing degree.

I am a reliable and dedicated individual that takes pride in taking care of my clients, I love to make my clients feel happy and safe, I'm patient with my clients, none smoker, none drinker with pleasant personality.

Hi! My name is Mama. I started working in the medical field around 2013/2014. Being that I was young, I wanted to venture out and explode different career fields and ultimately I decided I love being in the medical field. It's my passion and calling to help those, who need help. I am currently in school to obtain my associates in pre-nursing degree. I currently work in the hospital. I'm a young 19-year old gentleman that loves working with people and people with disabilities to make a difference in their lives. For that reason, I started working with Kokua and still do so as a Life Skill Instructor. What I enjoy the most about being a caregiver is getting know each individual client and making their lives that much easier in whatever possible way I can. I can work with another staff or independently with a client. I'm a quick learner and an informed learner, I'm capable of multi-tasking and work efficiently, capable of lifting well over 80 lbs, can cook, can perform personal care, and can do house cleaning. I've worked in highly stressful situations during my time at Kokua. I've recived recognition of a $25 gift card for working hard and helping out covering open shifts(60hrs/wk) while attending school full-time at the same time. I've also received recognition by my staff and coordinator of handling a stressful situation that my client and my life were in danger. I look forward to growing as a caregiver and making more positive impacts with the clients I work with or will be working with in the future.
