I am a very diligent and compassionate caregiver. I am extremely dependable and trustworthy. I have taken care of many families in the two years that I have officially worked as a caregiver, however, I like to say I have been a care giver for most of my life. I took care of my grandmother who suffered from Alzheimers for eight years. Taking care of her helped me realize the importance of companionship, respect, compassion and patience to not only my patients but to everyone. These are the traits and values I use everyday to help the people I care for have a great quality of life. I have worked with many different patients ranging from patients who need full assistance to patients who need minimal assistance. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is the connection and the rapport I make with the patients and families I work with.

I started caregiving on care.com in 2018, right at my 18th birthday, mostly for childcare. Moving into working with children with disabilities and seniors, I found my passion. Working with and helping people is why I got into this area, and every time I bring a smile to someone's face, I feel as though I am doing my job. I feel as though I found my calling, as my love of working with and helping people makes me excited to work every day. I am kind and fun as a caregiver, and always put the person I help first.

I studied to be a LPN but during my clinical training there was such a need for CNA'S and I love taking care of people more hands on so I stopped there and starting working as a CNA, which I loved doing then I became very good at working with people suffering with Alzheimers and dementia. I love cooking, listening and being an Companion to people who are lonely, I make sure I am letting them be them and being just what they need to be happier in their life. My mother was a very sick person when I was 12 years old and I took care if her until she died when I was 17 years old. The my grandmother had stomach cancer, and we took care of her until she died. I have the love in me to be the best I can be when caring for people. I have done it for over 25 years.

I love being given a chance to help people on a daily basis is so rewarding. Showing a person that you have their back, and they can put trust in you to do all the correct things. God want us to love, and help one another. I became a CNA to give more training so I can help others better. Scene changes in a person by helping a person on a daily basis that couldn't do it on their own it's rewarding by seeing how happy they are.
