Hello, my name is Kacee Welsbacher. I am 21 years old, I have a 1 year old daughter named, Aria. I first became a caregiver when my grandmother passed away unexpectedly. I wanted to do for someone what I couldn't do for her. I started at Guardian Angel's and met some of the most inspiring people. I helped cook, clean, bathe, dress, run errands etc. I even love to do this for them on my days off. Even to this day I still keep in touch with a few people I have helped over the years. One lady in particular. She has watched me grow into the woman I am today! I loved most, being able to make someone happy and feel loved. Some personal achievements I have made, was graduating high school with a 4.0 and having my daughter young but being the best mother I can to her! I do work a fulltime job, but I am available evenings and weekends! :)
Being a mother, I have learned several traits that has allowed me to be great as a caregiver. These traits include patience, compassion, the ability to listen and understand others as well as being able to aid with problem solving. I am interested in being a caregiver because I enjoy being in the company of elderly people. They always have a lot of knowledge to impart on me. As a result, I learn a lot from them. I enjoy being able to help others, learning from them and becoming a friend. One personal achievement I am proud of is being able to go to school and earn my degree. Due to my going to school, I was able to learn more about Alzheimer's Disease and obtain a certificate for completing the class. Finally, I was able to graduate with my Associate's Degree in Medical Assistant.
What make me a great caregiver is my personality I am a very happy, caring and loving person with patience and a little over 10 years of experience. What attracted me to be a caregiver is wanting to be an assistant to those who can no longer assisted themselves with daily living activities. What I enjoy most about caregiving is the client and just being able to be there to give a helping hand . I have been a Medical Assistant and a phlebotomist since 2006. I take care of my Grandmother from time to time and I have wide range of experiences with people with different health and mental issues. I love what I do because I love to help people just as much as I would want someone to help myself or my family.
