I am HHA certified. When I take on a family I want to really KNOW the folks in my care. It makes for meeting their needs better, and provides an atmosphere of trust and well being. I have visited " Seniors" ever since I was a little girl, with my mother; such fascinating stories! I have worked in the medical fields and in an elder care business for over 10 years. I know how vital it is for all humans to be validated by love and attention. One of my accomplishments was to be present, and give assurance to a client that did want to "go". She died peacefully, listening to her favorite music , while I held her hand! I consider that a great honor. I am a college graduate. Graduated with honors at St. Petersburg College in Allied Health , ( Radiology ). In my youth , I was a laboratory technician. Treating and helping folks and trying to make them smile, has apparently what I have done all my life . I still consider it an honor.
