Sue West

Aug 2016 - Apr 2018

I cared for Joan Miller in her home; the early days were mostly as a companion. Joan was always a joy to be around and we spent most of our days just as good friends, learning about each others lives and families. I wa s with her until the end and love and miss her much. ... more

Mary was a wise, lovely lady, and a joy to be with. She wa s from an old Dade City family, one of nine siblings, so I spent many hours enjoying her stories of family and the home town she loved. ... more

Cornelius

Oct 2011 - Nov 2012

My duties were preparing, serving and in the end feeding Pat her meals, managing medications, bathing, toileting, dressing, help with physical therapy (trying to walk; at that time she had just been transitioning to a wheel chair). Pat had been an avid reader but was no longer able so much of my time was spent reading aloud to Pat. Pat was the mother of six beautiful daughters so we also spent a great deal of time with her sharing stories of her life and family. Pat passed in November of 2012 and I enjoyed my time with her until the end. ... more
