I began caring for patients in a hospital setting 26 years ago because it was my passion to take care of people. What I like the most is seeing my patients get better, both physically and mentally, and becoming more independent and happy. The personal achievement that I am most proud of is that I was able to finish my AS degree in Respiratory Therapy and, ultimately, achieve the thing I wanted to do the most - take care of people and be in the medical field as that is what I wanted since I was young. I am a very caring and understanding person. Through the years of taking care of my mother and father-i n-law through their fight with metastic cancer until they passed away, I learned how rewarding it can be to be so close to a family member through their sickness, how important it is to be very patient and understanding. I chose to work with patients in the hospital setting, also, recognizing how their feelings and concerns were and helping them as best as I could.
