The reason I became a caregiver is simple, I love being able to help people who can't help themselves any longer or at all. What I like about being a caregiver is that once my job is done I can smile and say to myself I did a good deed because I helped someone today. A personal achievement that I'm proud of is that I obtained my CNA license and HHA certification, it helped me get just a little bit closer to my dreams. I'm a caring, warm hearted, friendly, hard working individual that loves helping people out anyway I can. I take my job very serious and I give 100% in everything I do. I've worked with individuals who had dementia, Alzheimer's, developmental disabilities, stroke, paraplegic, etc the list goes on. I also I have certificates in neglect and abuse, first aide training, I also know how to administer medication.
