Hello, I'm Geneva Driver owner of Altruism Home Care. We provide Homemaker and companion services to Alachua and other surrounding counties. The decision to choose others over yourself, to show mercy, to choose quality over quantity of life, and to send the message that "I am here for you," these are the ultimate expression of love. It isn't easy, but it is commendable. I am part of something bigger than myself. I am the oldest of 10 siblings that I love dearly, I was the cook, taxi, and counselor. My best friend mother even though she had other children she chose me and her baby girl when the time came to care for her. Mind you when I first met her I was terrified of her I used to hide from her. But she became my heart and my love. I've always been a caretaker at heart. About 7 years ago my family and I started doing feedings for the community as well as clothes drives. Since then I'm currently in the process of accepting donations for my first dress for success clothes drive. I stepped out on faith and let go of fear and started Virtuous & Valiant She Is for women and girls to be inspired, encouraged and empowered. I'm a lover of people, and my heart Mourns for the world. That is a heavy load on your shoulders but it's just who God made me to be. I'm Geneva Driver, driven for you, you are my motivation and you are family. I also like to see the change for the better in people when most would give up I like to find another way to help even when they don't realize it. I am very proud of myself for being successfully in raising my children to be the great children that they are and of myself for being able to do this as a single parent. I am also proud of how far I have come in life and doing very well. I can also say that i am proud of being able to have a positive effect on people. Being able to work with people that others say cannot be worked with. I have 3 beautiful children ages 23, 17, and 14 2 boys and a girl she is the youngest I love working with others and don't mind working hard I would not change what i do for anything I love the challenge of being able to change things around for people when most people might think that it is a waste of time I believe that any and everything is possible if you work hard enough for it.
