Hi a little about me, I'm 35 and also a mother of four great big kids married as well. One of the reason why I became a senior care aid is because I'm a people person and have a great personality. I love being with are seniors just cause there old does not mean they cant do the same as us. I have a few years of senior care on the side i cared for my grand parents and my husbands senior parents as well they no longer are with us but hold them in my heart. I and certified and have 75 hours as well as other certifications with me if need. If you hire me i care for ur seniors as they are my own family. I do light housekeeping, bathing , help dressing , errands, doctor appointments and many other needs as well .. I'm currently have a patient in the morning from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 3 pm in north miami my last day will be in mid April. I can also help on weekends on sundays all day and saturdays from 4 pm till 10 pm.
Knowledge of specific developmental factors to adults and geriatric residents Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to quickly learn new concepts and skills Knowledge of terminology and infection control standards. Work well under pressure and emergency situations.
I became a caregiver because I grew up with my great grandmother as a child and cared for her as she declined thus made me realized how helpless and fragile the elderly can become. The love she gave us was inspiring and that helped me to pass it on to others in my care. 2. What I like about being a caregiver is it gives me a sense of satisfaction knowing that I'm enhancing someone's life. 3. I had a patient that was critically ill, the doctors gave up on her, I cared for her and she lived for 11 years, she died at 106 years old.
1-Why did you become a Caregiver? .I became a caregiver, because of my grandmother. I was raised by her till she passed away. I learned a lot from her, and how to care for multicultures and multipersonalities. 2- What do you like about being a Caregiver? I like to turn a lonely feeling, down spirit and face, Into a feeling at home again, a right up spirit. 3-What is a personal achievement you are proud of ? One of my personal achievements is when one of my past patients was out of wipes and gloves, I didn't think twice I just got a warm wet cloth, no gloves in hand and started the perinal care gently. 4-Tell us something about yourself. I am caring, respectful, honest, trustworthy, and attentive to all.
I became a care giver because I have a son who had to require special attention..I'm a people person have very good patients love to listen in will to learn new things.The most proud thing I have experience is having a client stay at my house in not wanting to go back to his house for all the love in care he had with me..I'm a very nice loving sweet person I understand and except my responsible and is well to do any an everything I have to do to make my patients happy in comfortable as possible.
Am a great Caregivier because I am patient, understanding and I enjoy helping people. I became a caregiver because I enjoy helping people feel better and i enjoy working with people, to nurture is in my nature, when I help people feel better I feel fulfilled. My personal achievement that I am proud of are my children.
