I love being a caregiver when my assistance helps to comfort, aid recovery from illness . Being there to compliment their limitations. watch as one gets well and became independent. when family know and trust their loved one is well taken care of. I took care of a lady discharged from a rehab.she had multiple complications, the complex part was she was very conscious of being incontinent. had to use transport chair to take her to the bathroom . I gave her care until she was independent. we had a close bond . We communicate every other week.
