My experience with children began in mid 80s when I got my first job working for Urban Strategists Head start in Brooklyn, NY as a Day Care assistant working with children age 2 thru 5. I really enjoyed my summer job and a year after that worked at a Day Camp for Brevoort Community Center in Brooklyn NY, as a counselor with preteens. In July 1986 I started babysitting my sister and there after worked for relatives to make extra money. My experience did not stop there. I had my own child in January 1994 which was a wonderful and rewarding experience. I love being a mother and still do today. I'm a certified child advocate for the Fourth Judicial Courts of Florida investigating and supervising cases for children who are abused, neglected and abused. Also I'm currently a HHA with a Certification in nursing assistant for the past 6 yrs. I have worked with individuals with dementia, ADHD, autism, MS, dyslexia developmental and physical disabilities.
