I became a caregiver because my love is all for the elderly. I was blessed to have all four of my grandparents well into my adulthood and my great grand parents in my early childhood. Though no one could replace my wonderful grandparents, it was nice knowing I could still love them as if they were my own grandparents. I began caring for the elderly as a volunteer at a nursing home in high school. My mother was the dietician and cook there and I went after school. I fell in love with them instantly. Between the stories and love and appreciation they gave, I was all in. It became a passion. They became my life. I am most proud of how I not only care for the client, but the family as well. It has to be a complete circle. When families know their loved ones are given excellent care, their worries are lessened and burdens are lifted. That's what I bring to the table. We all have our lives and no one should feel guilty about living it. My motto is (as its written on my business cards) is , "When you feel your care is not enough, allow my care to make the difference".
