I enjoy helping others experience the maximum quality of life and not only existing. All my experience is in home care and training in hospital. I have a degree in nursing and was former CNA/HHA - old license 1191 264437007. I am privately insured and have certifications for services with Agency for Persons with Disabilities. I enjoy developing a rapport with the client and many times helping the family care advocate obtain the needed rest to rejuvenate so they can be at their best. I enjoy crafts (including crochet), hearing wisdom/history of seniors, music, attending social outings, comedies and action movies etc. ***LEVEL 2 Background ON FILE FROM MEDICAID- AHCA APD Program! ***SAFE DRIVER record***
I became a caregiver to bring joy into lives while helping with daily needs of others. I like being able to work in a field, I love and enjoy going to work. Compassionate and technically skilled in attending to patients in diverse healthcare settings.

I love being a caregiver because it makes me happy to know I made someone else happy. I have a achieved the power of putting others needs before my own. I love to help and care for others in need.
What I enjoy most is taking care of others, I like to help the ones that can't do for themselves and the ones that can do a few things with a little assistant cause I know it can be hard at times. An personal achievement for me was getting my CNA license. Having an caring/loving heart is what attracted me to being an caregiver.
I became a caregiver because I love to care for people. I love to put a smile on peoples faces. I remember the time I was working at a nursing home and the resident was going through a divorce and I was just there to listen and give hugs and to let her know how much I loved her. That really made a difference to her, and I was so happy to be able to bring her smile back. She made my day.
I became a caregiver, because since my youngest age, I always have elderly who lived by themselves and has best friend waiting for some help, empathy, charity, someone who is very patient, good listener. The best part I like about being a Caregiver is, I can help take care someone who is in need and always proud of myself to accomplish the expectation. I am proud to be always there to assist different age of people (from my church or I meet out). I am proud of myself because I went back to school to get a degree in RN. I am married woman with 3 kids, I am a CNA, Medical Assistance and started School to get an associate degree in RN last year 2013 at Dade Medical College in Jacksonville, which I stopped for 3 months now due to my financial situation, I am a strong believer in God, like to go to Church, worship, pray and read my bible, I am fluent in English, French (and French Canadian) and Haitian Creole. Very good attitude, patient and a very good customer service.

I have taken care of my parents and I would treat my clients as I would have done for my parents they stayed at home and were cared for in the comfort of their own home. You have to have compassion and treat clients with respect and dignity. Always let them feel they are still independent not treating them like a child. I had my own Adult Family Care Home and I specialized with Dementia residents. I am a dependable, caring and loving individual and I would never treat them any less or make them feel any less than the adults they are.
I have 10 years of senior care and relationship experience. I love working with the elderly. I previously worked at Fleet landing naval retirement home and also did private care. Its a pleasure and joy to work with elderly , it always seem to make my day. Extra care and companionship goes a long way to help them feel like they matter and they are not forgotten. (I've worked with children and special individuals.)
I have been a caregiver for 16+ yrs. I am very passionate about helping people and have compassion for them. I care for my residents how I would want someone to care for my own family. Most times the caregiver is the only family that the resident may know or have at the moment and most of their families expect for us to care for them while they cant . I enjoy what I do and couldn't imagine doing anything else.
I became a caregiver because I've always liked to be around elder people even during my childhood days! They're the most sweetest people to be around! I found it very interesting to be around them because I learned a lot from them and to be able to help them do things such as house cleaning, cooking, shopping ect. made me feel very useful! What I like about being a caregiver is the opportunity to be able to meet new people and providing them with quality caregiving services. The smiles on their faces are priceless! Just to be able to make a difference in someone's life is heartwarming to me. Even if it's a warm hug or a kiss on the forehead or even a "I love you" all makes a difference. One a achievement that I'm proud of is getting my CNA license, it was my pleasure because while making a difference in someone's life I was able to learn and grasp more on my profession so that I could be the best caregiver I could be! Because You're never too old to learn. I'm a mother of 4. My profession is a certified nursing assistant whom one day will become a Registered Nurse
