I took care of 2 adult sisters with Downs Syndrome. One had dementia and the other sister was Autistic. I bathed them, skincare, oral hygiene, Laundry, grocery shopped, cooked, worked with them to cook, set table. Independent Living skills were taught.

He had Huntington's Disease. He used a walker and wheelchair. I used a gait belt with him to walk a few steps. I cooked, light housework, fed, kept clean & dry. shaved, ROM exercises. I did get him out 2 times to a restaurant. He became bedridden,and Hospice came in. I worked side by side, with them. Tommy was a great joy and is in my heart forever. He fought a hard fight.

Ruth had end stage dementia. I bathed her, cooked, did light housework, grocery shopped, laundry. took her for car rides and out to lunch. I also did hospice care for her. Turned, kept clean and dry, oral care, skin care. Medication management. She also had a special needs daughter, that is nonverbal ans took care of her as well. She passed away 4 months after i started.
