My name is Stephanie Potts & I have 2 boys that are my heart. A 23 year old & an almost 13 year old. My youngest has a form of autism but is the smartest child I know. The oldest is a leader & a truth seeker & together they're an unstoppable Force. They get their best qualities from their mother of course. I love things neat & in there place. Taking care of people comes naturally to me. I absolutely love elderly people. They all have their own stories about their life experiences. Some have met famous people other were dancers & teachers. I love how their faces light up when they talk about lost loves. I suppose I just understand old people. They make my heart happy!! I go in starting a new job but leave as old friends. Spent the last few months of Ms. Zelda's life making her laugh and smile. Gave her medication and helped her in an out of bed. I absolutely love elderly people. Taking care of them makes my heart happy & usually theirs as well. I became to love her as well as her family. Her daughter's still ask for my help even after her passing. I have very good cleaning and organizing skills that apparently amazes them. Looking for the next elderly person in need of my services. I am kind hearted & loving with manners and respect. Etoile Sermons
I spent January to September with Ms. Etoile. She was an art teacher with lots of great stories. We talked for hours and hours.....😁 I took her on Dr appointments & to get her hair done. Often we would go to lunch or the dog groomers. She just loved to go.....🚗 When the time came where she couldn't do that anymore I was her arms & legs. I gave her medication & made her food. Helped her up & to the bedside commode. I gave her bath's & changed her clothes & linens. Etoile became my friend.....my best friend! She was like a second mother to me with advise & love. Miss her so much, she was one of the reasons I love this job. I have definitely found my calling.

This one is personal because she was my grandmother. I spent a lot of time with her & even named her MeMe. I was the 1st grandchild & it was no secret that I was her favorite.😊 I wanted to do this for her free of charge but the family insisted. Top notch pay for top notch care they said. I babied her as I would my own children. Made & cut her food & fed it to her. Washed her hair & put those 3 curlers in the end cuz she wouldn't have it any other way. 😉 I gave her medication and companionship like no other could. Her passing nearly broke my spirit until I found Ms. Etoile a few weeks later. This is definitely not the job for the weak at heart. I quit my job of years working for the Marriott to take care of my MeMe. She was my heart & I'm so glad I did because I got lots of 1 on 1 time with her. We made memories that I will cherish forever.
