In my previous job as a medical assistant, I interacted with a lot of seniors on a daily basis. I enjoyed interacting with them, as I took their vitals and made them comfortable during their wait, and also formed bonds with regular visitors. Additionally, as a mother, I know the importance of being supportive, dependable and responsible. Based on my experience, I am confident that I can be a great caregiver and look forward to the opportunity to have this experience. I also decided to become CPR certified to ensure that if an, unfortunate situation arose I would be prepared to offer assistance in a medical emergency. I believe that as a caregiver, I would be able to positively impact someone's life. Not only by assisting them with their activities of daily living but also, in being a companion and helping someone to do the best they can with their current capabilities. I hadn't planned to have children but when I became a mother, I found myself being transformed into a more responsible and selfless person. I view this as my most significant achievement and enjoy learning to be better each day as I care for them. I anticipate that being a caregiver will offer similar opportunities and benefits and allow me to help others as well.

The love she gave us was inspiring and that helped me to pass it on to others in my care. 2. What I like about being a caregiver is it gives me a sense of satisfaction knowing that I'm enhancing someone's life. 3. I had a patient that was critically ill, the doctors gave up on her, I cared for her and she lived for 11 years, she died at 106 years old.
