I have 16yrs experience in healthcare. Started in a mental health facility where I received my CNA and QMA certification. After 4 years there went to a long term care facility. Administering medication, bathing, feeding, transferring, dressing, helping with daily care needs are some of skills I can offer. Worked with Alzheimer's, dementia, surgery recovery and long term care. Always liked being a caregiver. Even when I stopped being a CNA/QMA, I still worked in a healthcare environment. i.e. Maintenance tech, central supply manager and transportation. What I enjoyed most was just making them comfortable. Spending time with them so they know you care.
