I have always enjoyed making people feel comfortable, seeing them happy. Helping them is like nourishment to me also; I guess you could say it's my mission and I feel there is a huge lack of people who really want to care properly for the elderly, it's something I have grown to love more and more. I like to let them have as much independence as possible and keep there dignity in tack because I myself have been through a time where I needed care and it was very hard on me so that allows me to relate to them and share my experiences and compassion. I also have a background in cosmetology and owned my own salon for right at 20 years. I am in Louisiana right now but, will be in Santa Rosa Beach in a few days. I actually started Caregiving in high school for disabled children and after graduation I then lived with 6 mentally disabled adults for 1 year to teach them how to take care of a home and themselves while pursuing my cosmetology license.
