I had my first taste of being a Caregiver at the age of thirteen. Our grandmother moved in with us. I learned to give baths, feed, change diapers, plus the most important skill-patience. You have to put yourself in their shoes and ask yourself, is this the way I would want to be treated? I took care of my brother for ten years. He died from heart failure at the age of 45. Then my parents had health problems. I took care of them for 20 Years. My father passed away in 2002 from cancer, my mom died in 2006. I received my CNA licence in 2009. I have had many other jobs, however, God called me back to being a caregiver. This is the true reason that I was born. I believe with all of my heart that God has given me this gift so I can pass it on to you. I hope to hear from you soon. Thank you so very much.
