Hi, my name is Dana Caswell I have been caring for elderly women and men for 7 years now. I also am a wonderful Companion to those I care for. I have a broad range of hands-on experience with patients who have been diagnosed with mental disorders-PTSD-Autism- MS- epilepsy- ADD/ADHD-Dementia-Sundowners-Alzheimer's- stroke patients, paralyzed patients and Cancer patients on hospice. I have also worked alongside hospice, physical therapist, OT and most importantly, Families, to ensure the best quality of life is given. My skills also include medication reminders, memory care, toileting, grooming, bathing, transportation, transfers & teaching how to correctly transition/transfer(I've worked with elderly who's needed the use of a hoyer lift to be transferred from bed to wheelchair) walking & exercise/Including PT and OT exercises. I log everything about my day with your loved one, to keep everyone updated on daily routines. I also help with meal prep, grocery shopping, housekeeping, errands, washing/folding clothes, doctors visits etc.. I have reliable transportation. I am up to date on TB test and vaccines. End of day reports, filing, labeling, counting cash reserve and securing the safe, having the ability to show patience, respect, curtesy with customers and workers under me when a problem ever came up and tried to solve it as proficiently and professionally as I could, operating right-hand drive vehicle, securing mail and packages to be sent out for pickup, attention to detail with federal policies and customer relations, negotiating stamps and shipment prices, strong communication between customers to keep them happy and returning, multitasking, put up inventory, paying companies for the service they gave, typing, working at the PO mechanic shop, data entry, retrieving parts for mechanics, picking up LLV's to be serviced.
