I became a caregiver because of my mother, At the age of 10 my mother died and I couldn't do nothing to help her. So I decided to get in the medical field for that reason. I love being a caregiver because it is a passion of mine to see people smile, and live there life to the fullest. Some of my achievements are attending school for certification, and also I am now enrolled in school for Health Information Systems and Business Administration. I chose this field because I want to make sure the patients get the treatment, respect, and etc they deserve. I want to see people that take care of these patients act professionally, and treat the patients like the way they (caregivers) would want to be treated. After caring for my father I knew this was my calling, this is what encouraged me to become a CNA. I love being a caregiver because I love to help others when they are unable to do the things they use to do. My personal achievement is getting my CNA that way I have a wider range of skills towards helping others. Tell you about me; Well I have fourteen years experience being a CNA and I also have a degree in Applied Science. I could choose to be sitting behind a desk in a doctors office, but I just love working with elderly and disabled. Its a gift I have been told.
