Giving care it's natural to me . I am a mother of 3 , but I have many loving kids who I take care from time to time to help some of my friends and my neighbors . Caring for this kids make me chose the job of nanny . In 2003 the same people I was caring their kids advise me to go do the CNA in 2005 I got my certificate and I start working with the elders , see the needs of our elders it warm my heart to be able to help them .When I move to NJ I was more happy to get into it again. Now I am a certified home health aide.
I decided to become a Licensed caregiver, when my mom fell sick and I needed to take care of her. It was quite easy to help out with her day to day needs. Even though she died after 6 months, I know she felt confident that I was part of the team who took great care of her. That is when I knew that I wanted to do this, and bring joy and smiles to all my patients. I love being a caregiver because, it is fulfilling to know that I helped someone today. I helped one of my Clients who had almost given up, have hope again. He became active and started going to therapy again, he eventually walked after 2 years of having a stroke. I am a very positive person, I am always smiling, and I treat all my clients as I would want to be treated,with respect and much love.

I cared for my parents and grandparents as they got older in their 60's and above. Taking good care of them made me develop some of my best qualities which are patience, compassion, attentiveness, dependability and trustworthiness. I became a caregiver because I am a blessed women, and I believe that everyone should be taken care of with love and respect. I like helping Every patient with a special kind of care, I love to see how they do things they never though they could do again. I tenderly push them because their is always hope. I had a patient who didn't think he could go to the restroom on their own, because he was on bed rest, so I helped him everyday to sit up, then got him moving on the bed. with patience we got him to the rest room.
