I became a caregiver because of my mother, At the age of 10 my mother died and I couldn't do nothing to help her. So I decided to get in the medical field for that reason. I love being a caregiver because it is a passion of mine to see people smile, and live there life to the fullest. Some of my achievements are attending school for certification, and also I am now enrolled in school for Health Information Systems and Business Administration. I chose this field because I want to make sure the patients get the treatment, respect, and etc they deserve. I want to see people that take care of these patients act professionally, and treat the patients like the way they (caregivers) would want to be treated. Everybody tells me I have a wonderful personality, and they can tell I care about the patients needs. I like to have fun, spending time with family. I am here to help. I am a Certified Nursing Assistant and also have CPR and First Aid Card. I am very skilled in the following: • Range of Motion (ROMs) • Cancer Care • Hospice Care • Diabetes Care • Normal Activities for daily living better known as (ADLs) • Stroke Care • ODD • Respite Care • Respiratory Care • Spinal Injury Care • Long Term Care • ADHD • Down Syndrome Care • Assisted Living Care • Infant Care • Babysitting Services • Tube Feeding Care • Overnight Care • Spinal Injury Care • Tube Feeding Care • Nanny Services • Pain Management • Medication Aide • Mobility Care • Dementia (AKA Alzheimer's) • Cerebral Palsy • Autism • Any Many More I also can assist with errands, laundry, doctors’ Appointments, dishes, meal preparation, paper work, very skilled with computers and many more. My first priority is being the best at helping and providing the best care possible. I am very dependable and reliable. You can trust that I will always have your best interest at heart. I've worked for the same agency for 6 years..I started with only weekends 2 hours a day. That was tough to go see just that one patient but I was determined to prove to my employers that they can assign me more clients, that I'm not your typical CNA, I really care about what I do and the patient/clients that I serve, by being dependable, reliable, taking on assignments nobody else wants, getting to job site on time, assisting and having working knowledge of skills in assisting clients with there special needs/ ADL's and being a great friend or companion to client; someone they can trust and reliey on. Within a month period of time, my employer relized i was that honorable women and assign me to a full time position with a client. I was with her until her passing. The next assignment, was the same. I believe in great quality care. I believe if i had a loved one that was in need of care, i would want someone, like me, who has the patients, time, skills, compassion and commitment to see about my family member and not have to worry or have doubts about if thy have the right person or not to take care of there loved one. So if i was to take this internally and visualize how family members would or could feel, thats why i know i have the confidence and working knowledge within me to do and be the best person i can be, and care for them the same way I would want someone to care for me.
