Since a very young age I have always wanted to be a nurse. I love to help and make people smile. I completed my Bachelor in Science in Healthcare Management in 2009, with the intent to manage my very own personal care home. I decide that I wanted more hands on experiences with patients prior to owing a personal care home, so I recently completed a certified nursing assistant course in June 2015. I will officially be a Certified Nurse Assistant in July 2015; once I take and pass the CNA state test for GA. I love being a caregiver because it gives me an opportunity to assist people in need. I am a caring person and I believe everyone should be treated the way they would want to be treated. I believe in being compassionate and caring especially when dealing with patients. This is the main reason I chose to work with elderly people because I want to be a pleasant and delightful light in their time of need. It brings me great joy to put a smile on someone face... just by offering a little assistance, a big heart and a smile can make al world of difference ..and that's what I plan to do one patient at a time. ... more
