Providing personal care services for Disabled Veterans in a personal care home setting for over eight months. Assist with daily living activities which include preparing and serving Nutritional meal, providing fresh water as well as extra nourishment between meals. Assist and help with personal hygiene, help with bed baths and showers using Hoyer lifts for non-ambulatory patients and assisting ambulatory patients with walkers to transfer from bed to chair or shower to chair. Maintaining all residents' living space neat and clean. Accompanying residents to and from doctor appointments. Assist patients with G-tubes by flushing and cleaning tube area daily. Performed vitals/glucose testing and assisted in administering injections and urinalysis. Record daily information in patients charts Assist patients with administering medications as well as administering breathing treatments using nebulizer machines to administer medication. Engaged patients with games, crafts, music, reading and other activities. Work in unity with other staff members to ensure all residents are in safe and clean environment.
