Being a caregiver creates a stepping stone for my future goals. I eventually want to become a Registered Nurse. Although I want to take my career further than being an caregiver, I thoroughly enjoy the privilege of taking care of others. Being a caregiver not only gives me the opportunity to help others, but from my experiences, being a caregiver also helps me. I have a better outlook on life and have an appreciation for things that I didn't once before. Not many people can say that they do this kind of work because of the type of jobs that may be performed in a shift. The average person may look down on a CNA because of how easy it may be to become one. What matters most to be is the fact that I've accomplished it. Im more than proud to call myself a certified Nurse Assistant.
