Caring, protecting and serving the elderly and disabled is my calling and passion. People consider me to be a very compassionate and ardent person. These are traits I adopted naturally from my mother who was also a caregiver who took me with her to assignments. I saw the compassion that my mom had on the elderly who were lonely and afraid. Of course as a child care giving was not my immediate desire. As I got more involved in the church and having to take care of my mom, I found this work to be truly rewarding and joyous. Now I look forward to visiting with seniors, talking with them, taking care of their needs in the nursing home and working with the sick and shut-in ministry of our congregation. My background is in Administrative Support "notice the word support" which means helping, so I guess you can say supporting is in my blood.
