I am an enthusiastic and competent healthcare professional with 16 years of experience. As a teenager in high school I helped to take of my great grandmother. I would help her prepare meals, bring her a glass of water when she would have a coughing spell, assist her with diabetic testing, or just simply provide companionship. I really enjoyed helping her because it made me feel like I was making a difference. At that time, I knew I wanted to be a caregiver and make a positive impact in someone's life.
