I make a great caregiver because this has been a passionate field of mine for 12 years now. I have worked in various institutions, homes, facilities and hospitals. I have worked with dementia units, Alzheimer's, mental disabilities all ranging from teens to the elderly. I'm very free spirited with a vibrant soul. I can adapt to the environments I'm placed in quickly. My focus is always my client and what works best for them. I enjoy having strong communication between the client and the care team... including the family, the nurses, doctors, and any needed specialists. I love to have challenges and crea ting plans that would be more effective for the individual. Knowing that I learned someone's patterns, routines, and favorite things to do makes me feel great. Especially when it affects them in a positive way. I can understand and speak a little Spanish. ... more
