I became a care giver after my husband became ill with cancer. The treatment he got in the hospital and hospice makes me sick to my stomach. Especially the way some nurses spoke to him. I then decided to become a CNA so I can help him and the other patients who really need proper care. To treat every one of my patients the way I would like to be treated if and when I get sick. Other words treat them the way I want to be treated. My personal achievement that I'm proud off is right after giving my client his bath on 10/28/14, he hold my hand and told me thank you for everything, and I love you then took his last breath. Moved from NY to Atlanta GA where I've worked as a CNA or Home Health Aid for 12 years. I love my job very much. Taking care of the sick is what I do, and I do it to the best of my knowledge.

I strive to learn my patients best. Like what makes them upset. When there mad I like to talk about things they love like a family member or pet. Being able to be there for someone when there family aren't available makes me happy, because I'm someone who genuinely cares. My proudest moments of being a caregiver is hearing want my patients tell my boss about how such a wonderful caregiver I am.

My personality is very outgoing and outspoken I am shy at first but once I adjust to something/someone . What attracted me to caregiving is my grandmother, she introduced me to caregiving so I began at a young age . I enjoy knowing that I can help and possibly relieve people and helping them. I am proud that I graduated high school and that I am now 21 and have my own apartment and it's now been a year that I have had it .

I am a very outgoing person, as well as a very fast learner. I was attracted to being a caregiver because I love taking care of people. The thing I enjoy the most would be learning new things about my resident/patient, and learning new things about myself. I am most proud of myself for allowing myself to show patience and kindness towards others.

I love being able to care for other elderly people who need loving care and a safe environment. I am first aid certified and CPR certified and can give meds, can give personal attention. I love to hear what they have to say. Conversation is very important. I can supervise bathroom care. I have experience with COPD issues. I have experience with Dementia and alheimers.
