I am a healthcare professional with 25+ years experience working in geriatric, memory care, dementia and Alzheimer's patients. I work in hospice care, palliative medicine, end of life care. I am a patient, compassionate, good listener, kind, caring caregiver. I do skilled nursing, wound care, first aid, post surgery care for transitioning patients to homecare. My start in healthcare was volunteering at the Red Cross, church and community outreach , I have worked eight years at the Washtenaw County DHS with CLS/CMH organizations as consumer advocate . I have worked long years managing assisted living facilities, nursing homes, directing memory care units, training, teaching and mentoring. I have earned Bachelor's of Science from EMU and Surgical Technology program from WCC. I am passionate about helping people to better their lives and improve their health.

I've managed a 6 man group home for the last 4 years with only minuscule issues. Regardless of the fact that I have children at home I'm quite flexible with scheduling although I would love to work mornings while my children are at school, it's not a must and I have no problem doing overtime.

I also cared for her daughter who preceeded her in death due to lung cancer. I have been a caregiver for 20 years, I got into this work just trying to help out a friend and I enjoyed it so much that I never stopped doing it! I always try to anticipate the needs of my residents and make sure they are met in a timely manner. I enjoy getting to know them, and doing little things that I know will brighten their day. I truly love what I do and try to do everything I can to help enhance their quality of life and maintain a sense of independence. I am extremely dependable and punctual, have a strong work ethic, carry myself with integrity, and consider myself to have high morals, ethics, and standards. I am able to follow directions, do things the way I'm asked to and not just the way I would like to do them, and strongly believe in doing the job I'm being paid to do. I have received full vaccination for COVID-19.

Caring with Love and compassion will always be my goal in this field. Since I was a little girl I helped take care of my great grandmother. Fast forward to 1990, I knew I wanted to be of help and I made it to CNA school to get Certified! I started w/ Nursing/ Rehab in California and finally moved back to Hawaii to be closer to family. There I started helping out w/ taking care of Family and eventually started working for Agencies. One thing I know w/ having to work both Facilities & Homes, it's both rewarding. Difference is Time & Quality of Care! Facility definitely needing to manage Time/ Quality for each patients. Home Care is best for Patient. Time & Quality of Care is much appreciated both by Patient & Caregiver. I would like to extend my Time to other's in need. It will be a pleasure to be of assistance in this trying time.
