Hello. My name is Patty. I have been a caregiver for over 10 yrs . I started when my best friend was diagnosed with ALS. After she passed away, I went back to school to become a CNA and Hhc so I could specialize in caring for patients with ALS and the elderly patients. Since then, I have cared for 4 additional people who have all been diagnosed with ALS. Between in home care, doctors visits and hospital stays I have been with these amazing people every step of the way through this debilitating disease. I am a caring and loving person. I work hard and always go out of my way to take care of my patients. I have experience in tracheotomy breathing treatment's, G-TUBE care feeding, wound care, medications and other infections. I deal with Medicare and insurance companies. I am willing to drive and I enjoy being with my patients. There health and well being always come first..

Hi! My name is Jennifer. I have lived here in Havasu for 19 years and have 3 kids ages 18, 14, & 9. I am currently a Licensed Esthetician and own my own business here in Lake Havasu City. Before starting my business 2 years ago, I was a Certified Nursing Assistant for 2 years in a local skilled nursing facility. I still hold my certification and absolutely love working with seniors. I cared for and specialized in residents with dementia and mostly worked in the dementia unit of the facility I was in. I treat all my residents with the same love and care that I would my own family. What makes me a great caregiver is the way I care for others. I like to take care of others as I would want to be cared for, I give lots of love, I am very kind, caring, thoughful, and always thrive to make sure the saftey of whom I caring for is well attended and cared for in the most safest way possible. I became a caregiver long before I became an adult. I would always reach out to help others and as I grew older it all came so naturally. I like being a caregiver honestly to help others in need, to have the best possible care that a person or child can receive, I know why I am here and its to help others. A personal achievment I am proud of is, tho I have my own family at home I am still able to care for them 100% while teaching my family its okay to lend a helping hand when in need.

Couple of little trait's I have is being very patient and understanding as I have heard many stores and have applied that to life, I love being a caregiver because you never know who you will meet and always have a new experience medically or just talking to one about life or true history. Hard working and I'm loving the caregiving life. Being able to not really go to work is so awesome. Knowing your job is not meaningless is the best. Caregiving is the most rewarding job!
