Hi my name is Kimberly and yes you may call me Kim, I've always had a passion for helping people, and that's always been satisfying to me. I feel that I am a caring, compassionate, loving, funny, loving humanitarian. I have been told by my clients that I have a great attitude and a very approachable personality, I have several certificates from classes I have taken of achievements that validate my career as a caregiver. I have been a caregiver for 15+ years presently and I am very proud of my work that I do, as well as making a difference in the lives and comfort of my clients both past and present. I am also very adaptable, I have worked with many types of clients of all nationalities and i also might add, I speak fluent Spanish. I have loved being in home healthcare for a long time. I have found my niche, per say. I am a positive but gentle personality. I can talk when needed & be quiet when needed also. I treat people in their homes exactly how they want to be treated & do what they like having done. Kinda like "Burger King," saying, "having it your way." It is your home & I try to make it be how you want it to continue to be. I am very patient & want those I care for to feel good when I am there. I do not plan on changing their care plan & what is already working unless the client or family tells me otherwise. I enjoy so many aspects of the job. I enjoy doing for the client. I enjoy cooking their meals when needed & I take my time with the client. I will do for them anything they would need me to do & make their days enjoyable. My #1 priority is client safety & feeling comfortable with me as their caregiver. I have lots of experience, I have my CNA lic here in CA also was a Medical Assistant & I am an LVN but not licensed in the state of CA. I came back to my home state in 2011 & did not take the test as I was going to do something else when I arrived back. With my caregiving experience I do not think I will get licensed out here. I have let too much time laspe, unfortunately.

I'm a very kind personality and down to earth, have soft voices and loving person, I'started taking care my parent for 10 yrs around 2000 until they both passed in2010 then i decided to reach out to other elderly and families who need help with their parents and loved one.

I'm an open-minded, friendly, compassionate woman with personal & professional integrity. Empathy and reliability, patience and the ability to laugh at myself & situations (instead of stewing about them) makes me a great caregiver. The safety of a client is of utmost importance. I've always liked to help the elderly to enrich their lives .

I am from the island so I grew up caring for my grandparents and younger siblings. So it's what I have been doing and use to doing now that I am an adult I do still help to care for my parents grandparents and also my own kids it's in me I do have patience and I love caring for anyone that needs the help just makes me feel good knowing they need my help. I started working caregiver when my mom and aunties would need a reliver someone to cover for there private caregiver jobs so I would fill in for hours or a day or even live in for few days as we all know it's a hard thing to do dedicating ur time and help when u have ur own families so it does take a village like they say u can't do it alone. Than I got my own private caregiver job I started working only weekends live this client had a colostomy bag also dementia and Alzheimer's so she really need the care around the clock I would help with her meals medication reminders also driving her to appointments and doing groceries for her and light house keeping I worked for this one client for 14 years straight it went from only weekends adding the week nights to the whole 24 hour 7 days a week. I would get my mom and cousins to relieve me when I would go on vacation or have time off but I was the main caregiver. I do still keep in contact with the family for reference cause it's hard to find private caregiver jobs.

I become a caregiver because I enjoy taking care of elderlies. It is satisfying to see them happy and enjoying life with the loving care I give. I like to bring change to a family - a change that sees improvement from the day I first arrive. I had been a Caregiver for the last 11 years and had worked privately as well as through agencies. Have worked in private homes, facilities and retirement centers. I had cared for clients with different backgrounds and cases of Alzheimer/dementia the most.

I became a CNA in the year 2015. I've worked in several facilities and at individual home care. I love my job, I've met a lot of amazing people and it is very rewarding. I love getting to know my clients and learning a lot of wisdom. I love hearing about their lives. I go home at the end of the day, knowing I did a good job and helped someone.

I was born and raised in the Fiji Islands, whom my dad is a Pastor in the Methodist Church in Fiji. The word "love God and love others" has been my Dad's favourite saying, as it is engraved in my heart from childwood uptill today. I do believe, to take care of the needy, I am pleasing the Almighty God through his love for me.
