I am very patient. I grew up with both handicapped and mentally disabled family members and friends, so I have life experience. I care for those interested to me as if they were family and try to make sure that their family members or close friends if there is no family are involved. I have a happy disposition and smile a lot and try to be positive no matter the situation. I became a caregiver during COVID-19 pandemic before that I was a massage therapist and holistic healer. I have been caring for people most of my life, and it just seemed a natural change over. I am a mother figure most people call me mama. I am just a natural caregiver. And I enjoy, helping others feel that they are safe and cared for. I decided to go into the care field after taking care of my grandfather who had dementia up until he went into his after life. I love meeting new people, socializing and travelling. I decided to be a caregiver because I believe that I had the qualities to be able to do the job. My personal achievement was when I took a year off school to stay home and look after my grandad when he was on hospice until he passed, that to me was the biggest sacrifice a teenager could ever do for someone you loved and cherished.
