Hello! I have worked in various roles as a caretaker. I have 21 years experience in healthcare with long term care patients. Memory care experience with advanced stages of Alzheimer's and Dementia. I have always loved to work in a geriatric setting, but I moved into hospital work and have been an ICU Technician, a pharmacy technician, cardiac technician, and most recently obtained a degree in Surgical Technology! I am also current on Covid vaccinations and all vaccinations. I am Also current in my BLS certification.

My main goal as a caregiver is to help my client feel confident in them selves and to help them stay in their homes. Hello my name is Denna. I am a 39 year-old mother of three beautiful girls . My passion in life is taking care of others and doing anything I can to make a difference in someone else's life . The last couple years I, cared for My father who was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer , unfortunately it was very aggressive and spread rapidly. After spending more time with my father I realized that although his body may not function, his mind was an ocean of stories and wisdom, waiting to be explored. It was such a beautiful experience and will forever cherish the time I had with him and the memories we shared. Taking care of my father and going through that experience have made me realize how passionate I am about helping others in their time of need. Treating patients with dignity, starts with helping them cope with their mental as well as their physical challenges. I have come to understand the signs that someone requires a further medical intervention, mental health support or simply someone to talk to as they are a little lonely. I am passionate about giving back to the older generations and being able to be apart of that journey in their life is such an amazing feeling and experience.

I became a caregiver because I love helping others. My passion is to help other live the best life they can. I am caring, compassionate and will go above and beyond to assist my clients to live their best life. I became a caregiver because I grew up with a mom who was a caregiver. I went to work with her and helped out with activities at the age of 12. My personal achievement would be, that I've been doing this for 15 years and I'm not ready to quit.
