I took interest in Caregiving 25 years ago when I needed to earn extra money on top of my regular place of employment. Since then I've worked both for an agency and also do private caregiving. I enjoy and find it very rewarding to help someone in need and hope that someday if needed I'll have someone with my abilities and personality to care for me. I find it very rewarding to be there for someone in need and to also meet new people. I once was told that you cannot make caregiving personal and I absolutely disagree with that. The client becomes your friend whom relies on you for so much. My personal achievement that I'm most proud of is becoming the hard working caring mom and wife I am. I love making people happy

Hello! I have worked in various roles as a caretaker. I have 21 years experience in healthcare with long term care patients. Memory care experience with advanced stages of Alzheimer's and Dementia. I have always loved to work in a geriatric setting, but I moved into hospital work and have been an ICU Technician, a pharmacy technician, cardiac technician, and most recently obtained a degree in Surgical Technology! I am also current on Covid vaccinations and all vaccinations. I am Also current in my BLS certification.

I'm a fast learner. I love helping others and multitasking.

I am conscientious, love people and employ compassion in my work with others. Caregiving is a fulfilling role in which I take pride, because I enjoy learning about others and how I can help each individual in unique situations. Hello, I am Nicole. I go by Nikki for short. I have been doing home healthcare since January 2020. I am a permanent caretaker for my son who has multiple neurological disabilities. My main goal as a caregiver is to help my client feel confident in them selves and to help them stay in their homes. Hello my name is Denna. I am a 39 year-old mother of three beautiful girls . My passion in life is taking care of others and doing anything I can to make a difference in someone else's life . The last couple years I, cared for My father who was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer , unfortunately it was very aggressive and spread rapidly. After spending more time with my father I realized that although his body may not function, his mind was an ocean of stories and wisdom, waiting to be explored. It was such a beautiful experience and will forever cherish the time I had with him and the memories we shared. Taking care of my father and going through that experience have made me realize how passionate I am about helping others in their time of need. Treating patients with dignity, starts with helping them cope with their mental as well as their physical challenges. I have come to understand the signs that someone requires a further medical intervention, mental health support or simply someone to talk to as they are a little lonely. I am passionate about giving back to the older generations and being able to be apart of that journey in their life is such an amazing feeling and experience.

I've been a caregiver for 8 years. I specialize with individuals with intellectual disabilities as well as physical disabilities. I am a host home provider who provides care for individuals in my home. I tend to work with clients who have a higher needs both medically and behaviorally. I treat my clients as part of my family and love to have fun with them in the community. I first became a caregiver as when I was a little girl, my dad ran a very big charity in texas called The Big Texas Toy Run where we would collect toys for children with intellectual disabilities who's family's were showing times of hardship. We then donated proceeds to various organizations. I volunteered there from age 4 - 18 years old.

The expectations and standards I set for myself are: 1) Dignity and respect 2) When I walk into someone's home, I'm walking into their world. I dont expect them to walk into mine. Its about them and their needs. 3) Everyone is an individual. Same diagnosis does not mean the same kind of care. My care is based on the individual and their wants and needs. 4) Patience and being a great listener. How else will I know what is needed and wanted. I have provided care for many people.
