About me. I've been a caregiver for 23 years I moved to Alabama in 2009 where I worked for affordable home care for 8 years. I'm very responsible kind and compassionate taking care of elderly and disabled is something I feel I was born to do I've been told my heart was too soft but is there really a such thing..I live what I do. A little about myself, to begin, I am a hard-working and driven individual who isn't afraid to face a challenge. I'm passionate about my work and strive to get the job done. I describe myself as an open and honest person who doesn't believe in misleading other people and tries to be fair in all I do. I do my best to be ambitious and driven. I thrive on a challenge and constantly set goals for myself, so I have something to continue to work towards. I am not comfortable with settling, as I hold myself to high standards and I am always looking for an opportunity to do better and achieve greatness. Not perfection, but greatness. I have a friendly personality and enjoy getting to genuinely know others. I am genuine, and people describe me as authentic and honest. I am a hard worker and am always putting in the extra effort to achieve my goals. I am attracted to caregiving because I thrive in service for others. It's a joy and in my nature, to care for others. I love the phrase "do unto others as you would have done unto you". This is something I keep in my perspective and do my best to treat others with kindness. Something I enjoy most about being a caregiver is the fulfillment I feel from it. Helping others 'do' when they aren't able. Being 'someone' for others when they don't have anyone at times. That in itself is a beautiful blessing to be a part of. A personal achievement I am proud of is starting a small business. Starting your own company can be a life changing event for anyone brave enough to give it a go. I opened my home years ago to become a child caregiver. This was a huge step in my life as I learned more about business, leadership, communication, training skills, etc. I hope to expand my caregiver skills in other areas and look forward to opportunities to do so.

Hello jus a little about me I lost my mom to pancreatic cancer during this time I was her caregiver. I realized that it was very rewarding to help somebody with their final journey ever since this I've done nothing, but Caregiver is absolutely rewarding could never see myself doing anything else!
