I am a compassionate person with a genuine love for people. I'm dedicating to helping everyone I come in contact with, it's my nature. I have worked at an assisted living facility right out of high school, where I was a caregiver. I currently work in a public school system with special needs. I have many years of experience with people of many ages, disabilities, ethnicities, and backgrounds. My love for people and helping people is what I personally admire about myself. It's such a rewarding quality, for both me and the client.

I am patient and caring . I was attracted to being a caregiver in 2015 when my grandfather didn't get the care he needed inside his home . I promised myself I would do whatever I had to do so no one else's grandparents would have to experience the same thing . I enjoy the company of my elders , watching them smile and just being able to be there. I am proud of still being able to keep my promise to myself

I have been in this field for close to 10 years. I'm a very fun outgoing person. I am a single mom of two kids ( young adults) I enjoy the beach, fishing,sunning,swimming and spending time with my family I got in this profession because my late grand mother had Alzheimer's and was wheel chair bound, I love the elderly and treat them with love,compassion and respect as they were my own. I feel the elderly paved the way for our generation, have put in many years of their heart and soul into our communities in some way and deserve to be in their own environment where they feel comfortable and safe. In my eyes not only am I helping them but they help me as well, from stories of their past to the way the world has changed. I have not met an elderly person that I haven't learned something from. I have a very easy going personality and that has helped me feel comfortable when I am with families and clients who come from all walks of life. I first became a caregiver while working at Shands hospital in Gainesville Florida, I saw a huge need with my patients who wanted to be at home but was unable to be alone and was also not ready for a nursing home. I would help them get set with equipment needed in their homes and help take care of them until they no longer needed assistance or the majority of the time until they passed away. This lead me to meeting nurses and doctors who would recommend me to other clients and that is how my business started. I have traveled with clients when they are unable to travel without assistance. I would travel with them to visit family or maybe a second home they own and other times just because they wanted a vacation. I have experience with making reservations when traveling, setting up clinic visits if the client has medical needs that would need to be addressed while on vacation. I feel like this is my calling in life and feel so blessed I am able to help others stay in their homes or facilities and be happy and healthy for as long as possible.
