Nursing is a calling, God placed it in my heart.I nurse as if I'm doing it unto the Lord I absolutely LOVE what I do & I'm so blessed through it.I've been voted the best nurse at my facility by my patients.I learn my patients, their individual needs, specific likes/dislikes and personality. I've been a nurse sine 2002 I am & will always be my patient's advocate.Insisting & ensuring they get the highest quality care.I'm very skilled, kind, patient, compassionate, giving & caring. My desire is to touch lives & improve the quality of life for those needing nursing care.I graduated nursing school with a 4.0, finished all but 7 months of RN school & then life happened & financially wasn't able to finish. Now unfortunately many of my classes have expired, but I'm ok with that lvn/rn just long as I'm nursing. I'm a 34yo mother to the BEST 16yo in the WORLD & very happily married woman.I'm originally from GA & I've got the southern drawl to prove it.I love animals of all kinds & believe they're a gift from God. Since I was a child I liked to help and serve people who could not fend for themselves and through this profession I do what I like to do that is to serve and help people with their physical needs or disabilities and getting paid to do that. I like this work for my personal satisfaction that gives me to see many people that I can help and serve and contribute to their welfare. I am proud to have my nursing assistant license allows me to work in what I like to do. I'm still studying. And finish the course of LPN and I am preparing for the state exam. Serve and help people with a disability is my passion. I am a person who likes to serve people. I am very responsible in everything I do. I am very polite and very patient. I love to communicate with people. I love my profession as a nurse assistant.

Hello my name is Chanda. I am a teacher and I absolutely love helping people. I've been teaching for 14 years with 2 of the years being here in Ga. I've always wanted to be in a position to help people. I started out as a caregiver. I did car giving for 8 years before becoming a youth counselor. After being a youth counselor for 4 years, I got my Master's in Education and I have been teaching now for 14 years.

I recently was taking care of my grandmother who was independent living on her at the age of 94. I would always take her grocery shopping, doctor appointments and out for lunch for 2 yrs every week. She recently passed away and now I have the feeling of being there for other's who needs a great companion, to whom they can talk to as long as they need and someone who can care for them. The main thing I enjoy about being caregiver, are the conversations that I have with my patients. We talk about my life and there's, and what all has changed in such a short period of time. The personal achievement I'm proud of is getting into the medical assistant program after attempting 3 tries with my one core class that was holding me back.

I am 35 years of age. I became a caregiver because when I was younger my grandmother became very sick and her kids & my family out her in a nursing home. I don't think anyone should have to go into a nursing home if they have family so I wanted to be able to help people to keep their loved ones at home. I'm a great caregiver because I look at all of my clients as my family. I love being a caregiver because I get to meet new people and I make sure they know that they have someone. It's not the end of the road....regardless. I love being a caregiver but I really love being a great mother.
