Hello, My name is Octavia Mcleod I'm 34 yrs of age and I'm blessed to have three beautiful children. One of kids which is 12, he really is my nephew but I raised him as my son since birth. He is the reason I'm currently in the care giving field. He has hit my a motor vehicle and required years of nursing, therapy, 24 hour around the clock care due to severe traumatic brain injuries he was left with. He was only 4 at the time so this has not only became a job to me it became a passion to me to care for not only him but others as well. I had in house RNs in my house for 5 years until I requested to care for him myself. Being a caregiver provides families with extra support for their live ones especially when families have jobs and families of their own and don't have the extra time to care for a love one that really needs that extra care and love. Being a caregiver allows me to give, love, support, help, and comfort and for that I feel accomplished every day when I come home to my family, knowing I have do those things for someone whom may not have that.

My name is Desirae Ashlee Evors I had a grandmother with Alzheimer's,Dementia and Parkinson's disease. I took care of her such as bathed her did her hair and cooked for her as well as cut up the meats that she ate. I also did her makeup if she wanted it and cleaned up after her. I used to work at a nursing home which I took care of 11 people by myself over night and during the day.

I've been a caregiver for about seven years dealing with many different cultures. What I love so much about being a caregiver is helping people that can't or no longer help themselves. While being a caregiver I've learned that every clue has different needs which I'm comfortable with. Also I've private sat with an ALS patient caring for her day and night that required lots so it's basically nothing I can't do.

I became a caregiver when my grandmother got sick and I wanted to be able to take care of her. I love everything about being a caregiver. The people I help toke care of their families and now I'm able to help their families take care of them. I love learning new things and hearing great stories about the old days from the patients.When i became a CNA I learned how to stay calm in bad solutions. I'm 36 years old. I have two beautiful daughters ages six and three, and they are my world.

1. My Pastor became ill and was bound to the bed. I learned from Registered nurses and Aids who came to assist her. I lived with her and became her hands and feet. She encouraged me to attend school. I glad I did. I loving it. 2. I love helping and making the client comfortable, have trust in me and to be happy. 3. That I care for people and their well-being. 4. I work PT with a Health Care Company. I personally aid my new Pastor assist with her well-being and all activities of daily living. Prepare preaching attire and other related duties to help in the church ministry. I am also my church musician. I have other degrees under my belt, but as of now Nursing Assistant is more dominant.
