I took care of my father, in our home, for over 8 years before he passed away on Mother's day 2019. I managed his medication, cleaned the house, made his meals, washed his clothes, helped dress and gave him baths. I assisted him in walking and eating. I delt with insurance companies and doctors offices. I took him to and from the doctor. Changed bandages and just sat and talked to him. I now take care of my mother, in almost the same way. I love to help people and make them feel better in any way that I can. Taking the stress off the person and their families is a way, I feel like, I can make that happen. I have learned a lot (hands-on) and a personal achievement I'm proud of, is learning how to pull community resources to assist the families I help.

I have over 20 years of caregiving experience. I have worked with children and adults with many types of needs. I think that each person I work with should be treated with respect and care and want them to lead healthy active lives. I am a great caregiver because I am kind, fun, and patient.

I am a fun and outgoing person. I am very energetic. I' use to help take care of my grandparents both used hospice so I helped with that.Then my cousin used hospice also from the sickness of Cancer. I really enjoy helping people no matter how I help whether it be to talk to run a errond or to mow the lawn to preparing meals. What I love most is knowing that I can make a difference in these peoples lives by helping them being there for them as a companion. So fulfilling other people needs seeing them happy makes me happy.

I cared for my mother for over 10 years until she recently passed away of natural causes. I have nutritional knowledge for the elderly and know how important excerice is. But most of all I know how important it is to have some one who you can trust that will care for your fragile loved one. Giving love and companionship is a very important part of caring for those who depend on others to do the things they have lost the ability do do for themselves. I want to bring some happiness into peoples life and would like to be a friend and enjoy helping others. I do all basic hygiene needed. I'm experienced in medication management and will run errands and drive to Dr appointments. I have my own transportation, prepare meals. My back ground check and references are excellent. I take my work very seriously. I want to bring happiness and comfort into your loved ones day. I'm a good listener and want to make every day their best day. I enjoy being a companion and look forward to working with you.

I believe I am a great care giver because I actually care, I care about the elderly and sick, I love the smiles I bring because mine is contagious. I love knowing that someone trusted me to take good care of their loved one and to me that's a big great responsibility

I strived to be the best role model for my grown children, all five of them, and am honored by their great contributions to our great country. My passions in life include being physically fit, active, reading, furniture restorations, and as much good old fashioned humor and laughter available! With my experience as a CNA and previous twelve years as an EMT for the Atlanta area, I am very capable and prepared for any job. I consider myself highly dependable, articulate, innovative, and knowledgeable in most aspects of care.

It has always been a desire to help people. Making a difference in someone's life. I have learned that I am a leader, I have been lead caregiver for several of my patients in charge of scheduling, taking care of all household needs and total patient care. I started working in nursing home when I was 16yrs old and loved it I felt needed, and felt like I was making a difference. Since then it has been a passion of mine I tried other jobs, but always went back to caregiving Later in life realizing it was my calling, it is a ministry, and I love it. I always wanted to become a RN but because of financial issues, I didn't finish my degree. That didn't stop me become a certified nursing assistant, I still can help others care for themselves.
