I originally became a cna to keep my auntie home when she was in stage 3 terminal pancreatic cancer she passed away in 2009 and I've been cna certified ever since . I love being a cna because you touch people's lives on a daily basis it's a very rewarding job my life goal is to eventually become a occupational therapist and work with children in the future. I have been a caregiver for 5+ years and I have worked in multiple health care fields with all different types of health issues. I have yet to run into something that I could not handle. Being a nurses assistant is what I do, I have thought about furthering my education multiple times but I keep coming down to the decision that I would not get that one on one time like I do now with my patients/residents.
