I have worked for the disabled and mentally handicapped for over 30 yrs, from infants to adults, from schools, agencies to clients homes. I love helping n caring for people of all ages. This is me and this is what I do!

I'm a compation, caring , loving person that loves to b around the elderly. I treat them as if they were my own family. I listen to what they need and want. I have a big heart and been doing this kind of work for 17 years now and I love it.

I'm very organized, Detail oriented, Enjoy making life easier or better for someone. Not just the elderly but anyone in general. I love being a caregiver. If there was one thing in my whole life that I can say I'm truly good at it's taking care of someone else. One of my most cherrishable moments to be proud of was working with an autistic child and his mother. When I started working with them. The child was very abusive to himself and his mother. Was completely out of control. Till one day I found his nich. The one thing that would calm him down immediately and keep him calm for hours on end. I brought the little boy a broken VCR player. Because he was constantly taking things apart around the house. Well by my next shift he has it back together and it worked like it was brand new. And from that moment on and still to this day as a young adult he works with his mother and they now own an electronic repair shop where he does nothing but take stuff apart and fix it all day long. But hes only had 4 or 5 more I stances where he was abusive or hurt himself since that day. And I love seeing a clients face when I show up for my shift and there super excited to see me.
