Hello, I'm Jennafer. I previously worked for a VA Medical Center as a nurses aid. I loved my job, unfortunately I moved and it was too far in distance. I am CPR certified, and have experience with most common elderly illnesses and diseases. I worked with a lot of patients suffering from either dementia, Alzheimer's, diabetes, urinary, respiratory, cardiopulmonary, restorative, and more. I absolutely enjoy making people happy and being part of people's lives, which is one reason I believe makes me great at care giving. I love to talk and companionship is a big plus for me in the healthcare field. I am very compassionate about the care I provide and I enjoy the friendships I get to make. I am always looking for ways and opportunities to better my skills and care. Just for a little extra info, I do speak some spanish, however not too fluent; I also play several musical instruments in which I got to share music with some of the residents I cared for. I am an excellent worker, friend, and companion and I hope to get the opportunity to show and express it to you and your loved one(s)!

I love working and taking care of people that need me. I I have worked with handicapped and mentally and physically disabled persons as well. I have dealt with a lot of altzheimers and dementia clients and also worked with hospice.

I have been a Caregiver/Med tech for 4 years. I really find working with Elderly enjoyable. I'm also a Certified Medical Asst. I'm very experienced with cooking and create healthy meals. I'm such a caring women, it just comes naturally, ever since I was little I've always cared about others always tried to help other kids or adults. I was personal caregiver in Easthampton and I am graduated medical assistant, I've worked with newborns to seniors for 8 yes, I'm a mother of 3 and I've taken care of my grandmother not to mention I did volunteer work at the palmer Alzheimer's home!! It in my blood I absolutely love caring for others. I'm professional and I put others needs before mine! My grandfather passing away 2 yrs ago was very hard for me and the way some of the caregivers treated him made me so upset I don't think some people should be caring for others..I believe its not just a job paying you ..you have to enjoy your job! Now my grandmother is I'll and in a nursing home some of the things I see and hear I just don't like..so I feel even if its just me one person..at least I know and believe I would make a difference!

I am a compassionate and caring individual. I have cared for elderly people in the past including my grandmother who had heart failure and my Father who battled cancer and passed in 2010. I understand the importance of companionship for everyone but especially for those who are ill or in recovery. I enjoy helping those in need and make it a point to help put a smile on their face as often as possible. As far as my background, For ten years I worked in a group home with individuals with various disabilities. My day consisted of taking them on day trips, dispensing medication, housekeeping, and meal preparation. I also have a bachelors degree in psychology with a minor in human services. I would describe myself as energetic, down to earth, reliable and ethical. I treat all individuals with the dignity and respect they deserve.
