My name is MacKenzie-Paige Dare Harrison. I am 23 years old and currently a stay at home mother of a four year old. I believe that there is a certain kind of person that has to care for others that are in need. My passion for and love to help others is what i think makes me a great caregiver. I knew from a very young age that I wanted to help others. It was dream or my God given purpose to be a caregiver. I love seeing the smiling faces of people when you interact and get to know them. Knowing that you are sharing the love and compassionate ways of the Lord Jesus Christ is what makes me enjoy being a caregiver. I do it because whoever I am taking care of is my family and I want everyone to be shown the kindness and love that comes with a caregiver that truly cares about the people. It is not about a paycheck to me, it is about restoring the health and well being of others in the most caring and loving way possible that is the payment me. One personal achievement that I am really proud of is never letting the enemy deterring me from what the Lord wants for me and the people around me. I like being a caregiver because it gives me great gratification knowing that I made a difference in someone's life. I am the mother of three well rounded,articulate,successful children. I am a self statrting,highly skilled,motivated,individual whom's mission possible in life is to successfully provide skilled care and change the lives of others one person at a time. My qualifications are to include: Helping individuals maximize quality of life and ADL's conducive to reaching full potential by providing direct patient care. Able to provide hands-on care to patients by administering medications, managing intravenous lines, observing and monitoring patients' conditions, maintaining records and communicating with family as well as members of the healthcare team. Feed, bathe and dress patients. Take patient vital signs. Serve meals, make beds and keep rooms clean. Set up medical equipment and assist with some medical procedures. Answer calls for help and observe changes in a patient's condition or behavior.

I'm a great caregiver because I'm passionate and very vigilant when it's come to caring for the elderly. I pay close attention to details. What attracted me to being a caregiver was being able to care for my oldest daughter grandmother for over 5years now, she currently has paranoid schizophrenia. Achievements, don't really have any as of yet. My ultimate goal is to obtain my CNA.

I have the desire to want to help. By showing both empathy and compassion , constantly showing the person that I am caring for know that i care about the person and want to do what I can to help them.

I have experience in every area; elderly, infant care, dementia, alzhemiers or just being a companion to the patient. I have worked in nursing homes, hospitals and in home care. I enjoy helping people and nursing is my calling; I have never had a patient that was glad to see me go, but always glad to see me come. I go above and beyond the call of duty. My main concern is that the patient is safe and happy and comfortable. I have taken my clients to the movies, out to dinner, or breakfast or brunch, grocery shopping, out of town to Chicago, Arizona, Pittsburgh, The Hamptons, New York Manhattan. I have taken my client to bingo, museums, to the hairdresser or whatever there heart desired. There's nothing I wouldn't do to keep them happy as long as it is safe and appropriate . I am your nurse that is very energetic and always thinking of how I can make a situation better. I am punctual and enjoy nursing. My last client I was with her for 5 years in Washington DC across from the Watergate/Kennedy Center. I dont have a problem with commuting to any job. I have traveled an hour or more away from home and im always on time. I have very very good references to share with you.

I've been taking care of elderly for 25 years. I am honest hard working and trustworthy. I will show up on time for my shifts. I have my CNA and Medtech certifications as well as CPR. My experience ranges from campaign care to hospice care. I love taking care of our elderly.
