People often describe me as one of the kindest people they know. I believe I was put on this earth to help people, and caring for others is the way I choose to satisfy this calling. I was raised in a family that always went above and beyond for other people. As a child we often had someone staying in our guest room to help them through hard times and getting back on their feet. My mother is a pharmacist who owns our family business with my father. Working in and around the pharmacy has exposed me to people from all walks of life, and gave me the desire to work more hands on with patients. I have spent most of my life helping to care for my younger sibling with severe physical disabilities. In 2020 I began my first job as a PSS. I took care of one client full time, she had Lewy Body Dementia and was hospice. Here is where I found my love for memory care and end of life care. It isn't an easy job, and many people can't do it. But I love that I am able to give the gift of support and caregiving to my clients and families during these trying times. As I am also a licensed cosmetologist I also am happy to provide my clients hair with services, nail care, and skin care. With the risk of COVID-19 still widespread this is a perk many clients love as they don't have to leave home and expose themselves to receive these services. I am timely, reliable, and will go above and beyond to provide the best quality of care possible. I look at my job like this: If this was my parent, how would I want them taken care of? And that is the standard I hold myself to.

I have a natural love of helping people. I have experience with Alzheimer's, Dementia, Diabetes, Cancer and many other skills.

I'm an extremely empathetic, caring and compassionate person. I am a caretaker by nature and have always felt that doing such work I was born to do. I grew up taking close care of family members and got great joy from doing so. I feel caretaking gives me incredible purpose and can't imagine doing anything else.

I am a healthy, active, strong 47 year old woman. I have worked in an assisged living facility, a hospital, and a rehab facility. I have also done a lot of private duty. My longest assignment was caring for a quadriplegic man. I have raised three daughters, so I understand children as well.

In 2017 I graduated from nursing school with the intention of helping people be stay healthy and feel their best. I have been a registered nurse for two years now and am hoping to expand my caregiving career. It is my hope to help people maintain their quality of life and independence safely as they age. I enjoy reading, pets, going for walks, running errands and being out of doors.

I am an 38 years old black African who's very dedicated, patient, compassionate, attentive, trustworthy person. I had many people in my own family who needed help and assistance. I grew up in an environment that make me to understand what they've been going through and he creates in me the passion and love to aid. Life it's to short and we need to make sure to be there when other needs us. l like making someone smile and doing little things to make a person's day better. You take pride in your attention to detail. You don't want a desk job; you like being physical in your job and using your body as well as your brain. There is many achievement in my life but the best one i believe it's putting a smile in my client face.

I was raised in a family of all nurses. I had a strong interest in helping others so I took the CNA course. I have been a CNA and have been actively working as a CNA since 2009. I have worked in all different types of settings, such as hospitals. nursing homes, private care duties, group homes, and home care. I love to give back to people that are in need of help. I love it sit and talk with people. I love what I do because it gives back to the community especially the elderly that need the extra help and have worked hard their whole lives. I'm recently married to my best friend. I was born and raised in Aroostook County, Maine until almost 3 years ago I relocated to southern maine for work reasons and of course to be with my now husband. I have an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice. Before I was a CNA I was a waitress for almost 5 years. I have great customer service skills. I enjoy reading, learning new things, and being outdoors. I love any outdoors activity.

It is in my DNA to help. It is what I do best & where I am most content. It is my joy to give others joy in what ever way that is for the individual. I find it a challenge & a blessing to work with a person who may be considered a challenge to work with, & with some good listening skills & some T.L.C. get that person to relax & not be so demanding. A little about me. I have two hobbies that keep me grounded & contribute to my personal & professional life. One is photography, I do mostly nature & wild life, which teaches me patience & being still to listen. Second, refinishing/painting furniture. This allows my creative nature to open & flow, think out side the box. Take something old, dull, maybe not so interesting & bring it back to life , new , bright & fresh. My friends & family call me a very positive, encouraging person. I find the good in most all situations & people. I have joy in my heart & I love to share the love & joy with those around me. I have been a CNA/CMT for 24 years. I have worked in a wide variety of healthcare settings. I enjoy being a caregiver the most because I know it's a Job that can truly have an impact on the quality of someones life.The times I have done home care I found it very rewarding to know that because of me a person was able to stay at home and be more independent than if they had to live in a facility. I am a compassionate caregiver who tries to anticipate what my clients needs are ahead of time.

As an educator and parent, caregiving is deeply rooted in my personality. I enjoy cooking healthy meals, keeping things organized, and finding ways to run a household that make the best use of time while keeping things fun. This summer, I was proud and glad to be able to support my parents as they recovered from multiple surgeries. I think we worked beautifully together as I took on more responsibility while helping them retain their independence and dignity.
