I was a Certified CNA over Twenty-Five years of experience in nursing homes and Home Health Care the reason I no longer have my CNA license is because I was caring for a sweet lady for the past 7yrs until my sweet angel passed away this past July I was her main caregiver and I no longer felt there was a need for a CNA license because I will no longer be working in the nursing homes facility I enjoy the Home setting better to give one on one love and professional care in the home I am a very caring and respectful including family values and morals and I am compassionate and I have a very big heart in helping others that's what attracted me to care for others I am a very prompt person I know it is important to be on time especially if someone is depending on you I consider myself a five star Home care Aide I have good job reference from past employment and current employer and good family recommendations

I have been a care giver for over 10yrs I made this choice for my profession because of the empathy and compassion my heart holds for those who are in need. I know in some cases the type of care might be different and require special attention based on the individual. I'm experienced in caring for people who are Visually impaired,Physically or mentally Disabled, Alzheimer's disease,Dementia,Parkinson's disease, M.S. and those who are in Hospice Care. In addition to my certifications I am a certified CNA ( Certified Nurse's Assistant) I enjoy bringing my positive, care free spirit in the environment of the person I'm caring for. I know their lives have been altered in so many ways and my only hope is to help provide them with the upmost care, love and guidance. I hope to help them through their bad day's and make their good days filled with joy and comfort. For me that's the satisfaction I get out of being a care giver.

I am enthusiastic Home Health Aide that enjoys helping others. The reason why I decided to become an Aide because I took care of my sick mother and the hospice company thought that I did such a good job I should think about becoming an Aide. I was born in a caregiver role as a child. I took care of my siblings when I was much younger. When I was in middle school my grandmother had an operation on her back and I took care of her until she was able to take care of herself. I was in school and I wanted to take care of the elderly. So I took a C.N.A. course and I worked at the School of Nursing. I worked with an elderly woman privately and I enjoyed watching movies with her. She loved Forrest Gump. I like the assignment that I have. I got her walking when they said she couldn't walk, I got her up from being bed bound twice. I had to help her. First we crawled, then she stood up, balance was our next step, and then a few steps here, and then full walking transfers! They said she is a walking miracle. I am proud of myself that I was able to follow doctors orders, nurse orders, P.T. and O.T. exercises.
