I am a certified nursing assistant and medical technician with highly organized, good emotional and professional skills. My interactions with clients/residents has given me so much experience in this field that i'm very willing to share and care for those in need of my services. Working as a nursing assistant for more than five years has been one of the greatest thing I have ever enjoyed in life and will like to pass onto others. I work really well individually, with a team and also got the ability to multitask.

I am happiest and most fulfilled while caring for others. I fell in love with nursing in 1978 when I started my first job as a Nursing Assistant. I found that I was not only doing a job, I was caring for a person with an extensive life history that I could learn from. People who had family who loved them but were no longer able to care for them. I went on to get my LPN in 1986 and finally RN in 2012. I have provided care in Nursing Homes, Assisted Living Centers, private care in homes, Home Care through agencies and have cared for my patients and their families with integrity and compassion. Aging parents have caused me to reevaluate the need for flexibility and the availability to now also provide care for them. This means the typical nursing block schedule is no longer a good fit for my families needs. I will continue to provide compassionate care for others but it will look different than it has in the past.

I am a current student at Metropolitan State University where I am doing my bachelor in Human Service with the commitment to helping others in the health care industry.

I have worked as a direct support professional, house manager and currently Program Director for a group home of the last 4.5 years One if the reasons I started in this field is because I have a cousin who has disabilities. She was born missing half of a chromosome. She is such a wonderful person and I am so honored to be able to watch her grow and learn. Hello my name is Jacklin Aud. I have been a caregiver for thirty years . Started working in Carmi Hospital/nursing home my junior year during my nursing class. I received my CNA licence at 16. Continued to work as a CNA throughout my junior, and senior year of school. I stopped to care for my grandmother. She was dying of cancer. I got married . My husband ,and I started a family. We moved to MN from Illinois. I decided to do home care unstead of working for a hospital, or nursing home. I've witnessed to much neglect in a nursing home ! I got my HHA licence . Then I started working as HHA in homes privately. I'm also a Pca for disabled children . I worked for Home Instead Senior Care for 4,5 years. I decided working privately for clients as a HHA is better than working for a company as a HHA. My job consist of taking clients shopping, doctors office, out for lunch,light cleaning, cooking, assist with bathing, and toileting. I work with hospice, and give medication. I love to care for people! I treat all elderly as if they were my own parents, or grandparents.

My mother died of cancer of the blood and what inspired me was the treatment she received from caregivers was excellent and this inspired me to be that caregiver to help the lives of people like my mom who need that care. I love people and l love what l do. I enjoy most to see that lam helping someone and is able to smile and feel cared for the things z person is unable to do.

I naturally am a caregiver. I want to bring a smile to the face of whomever I provide care for, I look at that person and their family as if they were my own so the care is completely genuine and from the heart.
