I give thanks to my grandmother because if it was not for her I would not be a CNA today. My job is much more then a job its my life... I take great pried in CNA/Caregiving. They are not just clients to me they are my family.

My Name is Kimberly Baker, I first wanted to become a Caregiver when my grandmother became ill when I was nine years old. I started my career in senior care in 2018 and I had the best times with all of my residents that i would care for. I then started working in behavioral care with children and that was an amazing time in my life but when it couldn't work around my nursing school schedule I then changed jobs to a CNA at Forrest General hospital taking care of all types of patients who need total care and the majority of my patients have became a part of who I am and a big reason of why I am becoming a Nurse.

I have caring for elderly people since I was 16 years old. It started within my family and as I continue to care for them I grow to love it. Its what I love the most I have tried to do other things but I always end up in Healthcare

Im 55 year certfied CNA 2003-2014. Certified PCA 2010-present, very hard working, caring, dedicated, and conciderate. I've worked in nursing home, assisted living facility and private homes. I take care of patients daily needs like assist baths, cook, light house work, assist with meds, and run errands. I will treat your family member as if they were mine.

I am a great caregiver because I'm honest, loyal, patient, and very dependable. I am someone that can be counted on to be there. I have natural urge to care for people. I've been helping people since I was a little girl. I lived in the country(Skene, Ms) with two elderly women and I had the task of helping them to take care of themselves. I became a Caregiver because it's always been in my nature to help people. I knew when I was very young that I specifically wanted to work with the older population. I enjoy my job because it allows me to interact with my residents/patients, I learn about them and their lives, and most importantly I get to help them, and I personally love it. Recently, I had a group of CNA students who we're shadowing me. When their clinicals were done, they all got together and got me a card saying how appreciative they were for all my help. I took that to heart because it made me feel like I helped them by showing them the proper protocol to giving great patient care. I'm a 22 year old mother of a very energetic 2 year old. As all of my jobs have required working with the general public, I'm a huge people person and I get along with just about any and everyone. I love cooking, reading, sudoku puzzles, and planting different flowers, vegetables, and herbs.
